Our Story

Riser was born from a vision, a belief, and a deep sense of purpose led by Samer Srour. Samer was more than a founder — he was a Certified Public Accountant, a financial and ERP consultant, and a PhD holder in Accounting and Auditing, but above all, he was a thinker who believed that knowledge and technology could truly change the future of businesses and people alike. He envisioned Riser as a space where expertise, integrity, and innovation come together — not just to build software, but to build value, understanding, and long-term impact.

With patience and determination, Samer began forming the Riser Software under Riser Team, laying strong foundations rooted in structure, strategy, and learning. His dream extended beyond products and systems; it was about creating a culture — one that empowers businesses, educates individuals, and bridges the gap between finance, technology, and real-world needs.

Tragically, during the war, Samer was martyred on 25/10/2024. His loss left a profound emptiness, not only within the team but within the vision he was building with such dedication. In that moment of grief, the Riser team faced a choice: to stop, or to carry forward what Samer believed in so deeply.

We chose to continue. Today, Riser stands as a continuation of Samer’s dream. As a team, we committed ourselves to preserving his values, his mindset, and his belief in growth through knowledge and technology. Under Riser Software and Riser Academy, we continue to build, teach, and innovate — not only as professionals, but as people united by a shared purpose. Every solution we develop, every system we design, and every step we take forward is a tribute to the vision Samer started — a vision that lives on through Riser and everyone who believes in its mission.
